₹5 Meal Program
Since 2019, Abol Tabol has been serving wholesome, freshly cooked meals for just ₹5, making sure no one goes hungry — and no one loses their dignity while receiving help.

The problem
For daily wage earners, the elderly and people living on the street in Dhupguri, a hot meal is not guaranteed. Free food is often handed out in ways that strip away self-respect.
Our response
What began as a small, self-funded effort has grown into a movement supported by countless kind-hearted people. A plate costs ₹5 — a token amount that lets people eat as customers, not as recipients of charity.
Who we reach
Rickshaw pullers, market vendors, elderly people without family support, street-connected children and anyone who needs a warm plate of food.
How it works
Simple. Direct. Together.
- 01
Meals are cooked fresh and served from Abol Tabol's counter in Dhupguri.
- 02
Anyone can eat for ₹5 — no questions asked.
- 03
Supporters sponsor a day's meals on birthdays, anniversaries or in memory of loved ones. On those days, every plate is served completely free.
